Sin C. LI, CPA, CGMA

Senior Partner

Sin focuses on the strategic direction of the practice and is responsible for the business development and digitalization initiatives at our firm. He still manages a handful of clients so that he can stay current with general operational challenges. Sin has over 30 years of experience in audit, tax, project finance, and insolvency.  He has worked in the USA for 23 years at various international firms, including Big 4 and mid-tier accounting firms and IFC (the private arm of The World Bank) dealing with multinational corporations, venture capital funds, and private equity funds on worldwide projects.  Sin is the first U.S. CPA to be licensed in Mauritius.  He is also committed to community service and currently sits on the board of several NGOs helping battered women and children with mental disabilities.

Audit Partner

Antoinette has over 16 years of audit, tax, IFRS advisory and accounting experience.  She is a partner at Baker Tilly and has worked as an audit partner both for PKF and Moore previously.  Her primary areas of focus are external audit.  She has extensive experience in providing assurance services to both listed and private businesses.  She has served on the technical and executive committee for mid-tier practices historically.  Her passion is financial reporting and IFRS accounting opinions.​

Akilesh DEERPALSINGH, FCCA

Akilesh is an experienced finance and governance professional with over 2 decades of expertise encompassing auditing, advisory, forensics, and real estate planning and management.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly, he held a leadership position at The Global Fund in Geneva, overseeing the Financial Performance, Governance & Management Reporting function with responsibility for multi-billion dollar funding across 130+ countries. Akilesh has also worked in audit and advisory for over a decade at a local Big 4 firm offering strategic guidance to clients across various sectors including financial services, insurance, manufacturing, media, automobile retail, logistics, and international organizations.

Associate Director Data Engineering & AI Integration

With over 3 decades of experience in digital entrepreneurship and international trade, Dr. ES FIH leads our Digitalization & Data Analytics department. He has previously assisted businesses globally in harnessing digitalization and AI for efficient operations, notably as an eSolution advisor at the International Trade Centre, an agency of the United Nations & World Trade Organization. He has also consulted at other world organizations like the World Bank and USAID. Dr. ES FIH holds a PhD in mobile Commerce and Master's degree in cross border e-commerce.
