Ah Kune is an accomplished audit and assurance professional with over four decades of experience in auditing, financial advisory, corporate finance and systems implementation, developed through a distinguished career with leading Big Four accounting firms. He currently serves as Partner in Audit & Assurance at Baker Tilly Mauritius, delivering assurance and advisory services across Mauritius and Africa.

He brings extensive expertise across the full spectrum of assurance services, including financial audit and reporting, regulatory compliance, governance and risk reviews, internal control assessments, and business and operational reviews. His experience extends across more than 20 English, French and Portuguese-speaking African countries, supporting World Bank-funded projects, donor-funded programmes and private sector organisations.

His career includes advisory roles on major public sector transformation initiatives, notably with the Malagasy Privatisation Committee, where he led multidisciplinary teams on strategic transactions in the cotton and telecommunications sectors. He has also served as Professional Practice Director within a Big Four firm, providing technical leadership on complex IFRS, accounting and auditing matters, including fair value assessments, business combinations and financial instruments.

Ah Kune has advised listed companies, Public Interest Entities (PIEs), multinational groups and public sector organisations across a broad range of industries. His extensive cross-sector experience enables him to provide practical solutions to complex financial reporting, governance and regulatory challenges. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), a Business and Finance Professional (BFP) of the ICAEW, and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
