Biography
Sin is the Senior Partner at Baker Tilly Mauritius and brings over three decades of experience in audit, tax, and project finance. He has worked with several international firms, including Mazars, Price Waterhouse, and global financial institutions, serving multinational corporations, venture capital funds, and private equity firms.
Having spent much of his career in the United States, Sin returned to Mauritius in 2011 to establish an audit and business consulting practice. He advised clients through strategic planning, cost management, process re-engineering, business sales, as well as mergers and acquisitions. In 2016, he became the Managing Partner of Baker Tilly and was appointed Senior Partner in 2019.
Sin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from George Washington University. Notably, he is the first U.S. CPA to be licensed in Mauritius.
As a passionate advocate for community service, Sin serves on the boards of various non-profit organizations that support women facing domestic abuse, children with mental health challenges, and food self-reliance initiatives across local communities.
