Job brief

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented ESG Legal Intern for a period of up to 9 months to support the legal and regulatory aspects of ESG advisory services at Greenalytics. This role offers practical exposure to ESG-related legal research and compliance work.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the ESG Project Lead and ESG team in delivering ESG advisory projects with a focus on legal, regulatory, and governance aspects
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research on ESG-related laws, regulations, guidelines, and reporting obligations across relevant jurisdictions
  • Support the drafting and review of ESG policies, codes of conduct, governance frameworks, and internal control documents
  • Assist in mapping regulatory ESG requirements and assessing client compliance gaps against applicable laws and ESG standards
  • Contribute to the preparation of ESG disclosures, governance sections of sustainability reports, and regulatory submissions
  • Monitor and summarise regulatory developments related to ESG, sustainability, climate change, labour, and corporate governance


Requirements and skills

  • Open to students who are still completing their studies in Law program, Legal studies or related field.
  • Strong interest in ESG, sustainability, corporate governance, and legal compliance
  • Basic understanding of legal concepts and regulatory frameworks (preferred)
  • Strong research, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
